We want every clinic and doctor on DoctorAppointments.in to feel confident about their subscription. This Policy explains free trials, when refunds are available, how cycle-end subscription and overage billing works, and how to cancel your account at any time.
Last updated: 2026-05-23
Every new account — individual doctor, clinic, or hospital — starts with the free trial length shown on the selected plan. No payment method is required to begin the trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged. When the trial ends: for postpaid plans (up to 30 days), the plan activates automatically and is invoiced at the end of its billing cycle; for prepaid plans (longer than 30 days), payment is required to activate the plan.
Subscription plans on DoctorAppointments.in are billed in 30-day or longer cycles (e.g. 90-day), depending on the selected plan. Postpaid plans (up to 30 days) are invoiced at cycle end; prepaid plans (longer than 30 days) require payment before the cycle begins. Because we incur infrastructure and processing costs from the moment a subscription begins, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we will make the following good-faith exceptions:
Certain plans include a set number of doctor profiles. Adding doctors beyond this included count requires an upfront (prepaid) per-period payment before the doctor can be activated. Extra doctor charges are non-refundable once the doctor has been activated.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Billing → Cancel subscription. On cancellation:
If an invoice remains unpaid beyond the grace period (default 7 days), the subscription is moved to past_due and then to suspended. A suspended subscription blocks new bookings (the API returns 423 Locked) but does not delete your data. Settling the outstanding invoice restores service immediately. Suspension is not a cancellation — see Section 4 above to cancel.
Where a refund is granted, it is processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay. Typical timelines:
Refund timelines are governed by Razorpay and the receiving bank; we are unable to expedite them beyond what the network supports.
DoctorAppointments.in does not collect or process consultation fees from patients on behalf of doctors. The fees displayed on a doctor's profile are informational. Any payment for a consultation is a matter directly between the patient and the doctor / clinic, and any refund of consultation charges is therefore handled by the doctor / clinic in accordance with their own policy. Our refund commitments under this Policy cover only platform subscription and overage fees that you, the account holder, paid to us.
Please raise any billing dispute within 7 days of the invoice date by writing to billing@doctorappointments.in with your account email and the invoice number. We respond within two business days. Initiating a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of the account pending resolution.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to the registered account holder. Continued use of the service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
For refund requests or billing questions write to billing@doctorappointments.in. For general support write to support@doctorappointments.in.
