1. Acceptance of these Terms

By signing up for an account — whether as an individual doctor, a clinic, or a hospital — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Who may register

• You must be a licensed medical practitioner, a clinic, a hospital, or an authorised representative of such an entity, to register a healthcare account.
• You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself, your practice, and the doctors listed under your account.
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts for the purpose of evading suspension, plan limits, or moderation action.

3. Account ownership & content responsibility

You are solely responsible for everything published on or through your account, including doctor profiles, photos, qualifications, bios, specialisations, fees, working hours, clinic descriptions, gallery images, and any other content uploaded to the platform.

• The account holder is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential. You are liable for all activity that takes place under your account.
• You must immediately notify us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• You agree not to impersonate any doctor, clinic, hospital, brand, or individual.

4. Disclaimer — pages created in a doctor's name

Important. A public page created in any particular doctor's name on DoctorAppointments.in — including the doctor's profile, photo, qualifications, fees, schedule, and any other published information — is the sole responsibility of the person or account that created it. DoctorAppointments.in and its team do not verify medical credentials, do not endorse any practitioner, and do not assume any liability whatsoever for the accuracy, legitimacy, or consequences of any content published under any doctor's name on the platform.

Patients are encouraged to independently verify a doctor's credentials and qualifications before booking. Any disputes regarding identity, qualifications, or services rendered are matters between the patient and the listed practitioner / clinic. DoctorAppointments.in acts only as a technology platform that facilitates online appointment scheduling.

5. Prohibited content & conduct

You agree not to use the platform to publish, host, or transmit any content that is:

• False, misleading, fraudulent, or impersonates another person or practitioner;
• Obscene, sexually explicit, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or otherwise objectionable;
• In violation of applicable medical advertising regulations, the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, the Consumer Protection Act, or any other applicable law;
• Infringing on any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• Containing malicious code, attempting to disrupt the service, scrape data, or circumvent rate limits or access controls.

6. Account approval, moderation & takedowns

To maintain platform standards, DoctorAppointments.in operates an active moderation policy:

• The right to approve or disapprove any account lies solely with the platform administrator. Admins may, at their sole discretion, accept or reject a new account at signup or at any later time.
• Any account found to be fake, fraudulent, malicious, or containing objectionable content or images will be taken down immediately, and strict action — including but not limited to permanent suspension, removal of public pages, blacklisting of associated emails / domains, and where appropriate referral to law-enforcement — will be initiated without prior notice.
• Admins reserve the right to block any account that is found fake, malicious, objectionable, or otherwise in breach of these Terms.
• Admins may seek written explanations from account holders about content, identity, or conduct, and may suspend the account pending a satisfactory response.
• Decisions taken on moderation matters by the platform administrator are final and binding.

7. Appointment bookings

The platform facilitates the booking of medical appointments between patients and listed doctors / clinics. DoctorAppointments.in is not a party to the actual consultation, treatment, or any healthcare service rendered. We do not provide medical advice. Patients should rely solely on their treating doctor for any medical decision.

We make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the calendar is accurate and free of double bookings (enforced at the database level), but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free booking availability.

8. Billing & subscription

Paid plans are billed through Razorpay or any other payment processor we choose to integrate. By subscribing you authorise the recurring charge of your chosen plan and any cycle-end overage. Detailed billing rules — trial period, included doctor quota, per-doctor-per-day overage, cycle-end invoice generation, grace period, and suspension on non-payment — are described on your dashboard and in the Refund Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The software, source code, design, brand marks, and documentation that make up DoctorAppointments.in are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for the duration of your subscription, strictly for the purpose of operating your appointment booking practice. You retain ownership of the content you publish (doctor information, photos, bios) but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and transmit that content for the purpose of operating the service.

10. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses; nor do we warrant the accuracy of any content posted by users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are disclaimed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DoctorAppointments.in and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DoctorAppointments.in from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the service, (b) any content you publish, (c) your breach of these Terms or any applicable law, or (d) your infringement of any third-party right.

13. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if your subscription remains overdue beyond the grace period, or if continued service would expose us or other users to legal or reputational risk. On termination your public pages will be taken offline; you may export your appointment data within a reasonable window before deletion.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to the registered account holder or by a notice on the dashboard. Continued use of the service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
